Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

1 Timothy 4:12

Deaf Youth Ministry of Texas is a youth program that outreaches to the Deaf youth in Austin, Texas.  We hold weekly Bible studies for Elementary, Middle, High school youth, and young adults.  A majority of the youth come from the Texas school for the Deaf.

Here at Deaf Youth Ministry of Texas, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support.  There are several ways that you can be a part for this awesome ministry.

Message from Pastor Mark

Facebook likes to remind us of things we have posted on that day in previous years. During the school year, most of the posts are about being with the greatest deaf kids on earth on Wednesday evenings. During the summer, most of the posts are about my road trips, most often connected with the Deaf Youth Service Trip. Over the years, our deaf teenagers have had service trips to New York City, Rochester, New York (2x), Sarasota, Florida, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota (2x), Denver, Colorado, Madison, Wisconsin, Seattle, Washington, San Francisco (3x), Los Angeles (3x), Washington, D.C. (2x). There were a couple years when we didn't have service trips, and this year there will be no service trip due to Covid 19. I'll really miss being with the kids. Lord willing, next year we will be able to resume our service trips and that I will be healthy enough to go.

You have known the Holy Scriptures ever since you were a little child. They are able to teach you how to be saved by believing in Christ Jesus.
